“Type C” static dissipative FIBCs (Big Bags) are commonly used in the chemical and processing industries to prevent dangerous levels of static accumulation which may result in electrostatic discharges from the surface of
the FIBC or allow adjacent objects / operators to become charged by induction.
The Earth-Rite FIBC ensures that the “Type C” Big Bag is correctly grounded and within the correct surface resistivity range before material filling / emptying commences. The resistance monitoring range of the system also enables it
to be used with other “static dissipative” materials such as flexible linings and hoses etc.
